Wirtshaus Mättle - the new project of the Wiedmer family. Rainer, Nicolai and Larissa Wiedmer have embarked on a new project together. The old Mättle is brought back to life. The heart of Tumring's town centre begins to beat again - in the Wirtshaus Mättle.

Where our 1st Federal President Theodor Heuss was drawn to for a glass or two of wine, it’s now your turn to be a guest. And where the actual pub was until the middle of the 19th century, it is flourishing again. Together with Sebastian Herkner, one of the hottest designers of our time, a completely new and simple room concept was created.

The dishes – down-to-earth, with sophistication; regional and international!

The host

Team MÄTTLE – The service is fast, casual, courteous and the cuisine is fun – regional, fresh and delicious!

Jens Rieser – host & restaurant manager, has been with the company through thick and thin. The man has nerves. Having worked for the WIO Group for over 20 years, he knows the secret of an outstanding guesthouse: genuine hospitality, quality down to the last detail and an atmosphere that feels like home.
