In List on the picturesque island of Sylt, in Alexandro Pape's Sylter GenussMacherei, unique delicacies are produced with the highest standards of quality and authenticity. The products of this manufactory bear the label "Sylt", because from the first to the last processing stage, production takes place exclusively on the island.

In the Sylter GenussMacherei genuine Sylt originals are created, such as “Fleur de Sylt” fine sea salt, carefully extracted from North Sea water and gently dried. The in-house salt works makes this unique production possible. In addition, handmade pasta specialities, which are made by hand according to original recipes, are a delight. Only selected ingredients such as durum wheat semolina and Sylt sea salt are used.

The Sylter GenussMacherei also focuses on the highest quality and authenticity in beer production. The “WATT” beer, brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law, is produced with the utmost care. The special feature of this beer is the pure North Sea water condensate, which is produced as a “by-catch” during sea salt production and, together with the Sylt deep fresh water, forms the basis for the beer. The brewery produces just 500 litres of beer a day, divided into four delicious varieties: WATT Blondes, WATT Dunkles, WATT’n Pale Ale and WATT Malziges.

Alexandro Pape’s Sylter GenussMacherei is characterised by its dedication to producing authentic, high-quality delicacies that reflect the character and uniqueness of the island of Sylt in an unmistakable way.
