Villeroy & Boch can look back on 275 years of company history. During this time, the company has undergone major changes: from a production-oriented ceramist to a lifestyle provider with a global focus.
The origins of Villeroy Boch can be traced back to François Boch, who began manufacturing tableware and other ceramics in 1748. In 1836, Boch merged with Nicolas Villeroy. The first products of the new company Villeroy & Boch were simple household utensils such as pots, bowls and jugs. 275 years later, the German company creates holistically designed rooms and style worlds. The company is currently represented in 125 countries and employs 6400 people in 81 countries.
In the anniversary year 275 years of Villeroy Boch Boch, the divisions arepresenting special product highlights. The kitchen business started with an original: the sink. He enters into a liaison with a version of the well-known Alt Luxemburg décor adapted by designer Gesa Hansen.
